{"id":91,"date":"2023-02-03T03:47:24","date_gmt":"2023-02-03T03:47:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wginvitational.com\/?page_id=91"},"modified":"2026-03-09T16:37:01","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T16:37:01","slug":"participants","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/wginvitational.com\/?page_id=91","title":{"rendered":"Participants"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1>\n\t\t\tParticipants\t<\/h1>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/wginvitational.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/WG-Event-Day-Map.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tEvent Day Map\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/wginvitational.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/WG-Field-Events-Map.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tField Events Map\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>20th Annual John Owens Willow Glen Track and Field Invitational<\/h2>\n<p>In honor of the many dedicated years as head coach of Willow Glen High School&#8217;s Track and Field team, the event has been renamed to the <strong>John Owens Willow Glen Track and Field Invitational<\/strong> and is being held this year on <strong>Saturday March 14, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The meet will be held on the outstanding track facility at <strong>Willow Glen High School<\/strong>, at 2001 Cottle Avenue, San Jose CA, 95125.<\/p>\n<p>We will feature all levels of competition: Varsity Boys, Varsity Girls, Frosh\/Soph Boys, and Frosh\/Soph Girls.<\/p>\n<p>Please review starting block techniques, so races can run much smoother and save time.<\/p>\n\t<h3>Entry Fees<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Registration begins <strong>Friday, February 6th, 10pm PST <\/strong>on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.athletic.net\/TrackAndField\/meet\/629727\/register\">athletic.net<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Teams<\/strong>: $15 per relay team (Girls or Boys), maximum of $450 per school (includes both Boys and Girls teams).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Individuals<\/strong>: $5 per event<\/li>\n<li>Entry fees can be paid prior to the invitational or at the entrance gate on meet day &#8211;
